I am that mom listening to your narration while making chicken noodle soup with a chunky 10 month old on my hip and 2 year old at my skirt. I might not be one of your day one-ers but love hearing about the journey and following along with your refined ventures ✨
Well, I'm very happy to be the first to comment! I haven't been following for twenty years but I have for maybe sixteen. I've certainly gone back and watched the YouTube videos since the beginning.
It's been fun to watch all the changes over the years. My favorite videos tend to be the cooking ones because hey, that's what I love to do 💗
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled. I've had this account for a year wanting to do this. I have so much to share. I love it that you are my first comment! Watch for my cooking, specifically pastry coming to Youtube over the coming months. Thank you for being here.
Beautiful! As always. Not a day “one-er” but a 16 year-er and glad to have been encouraged in my early days of considering/researching homeschooling by reading of your beginnings. In 2012 we dove into homeschool and now in 3 short months Sophia will be a homeschool graduate! I came upon your blog around 2008 the time I was planning/researching my family’s first trip to France and knew I had found a kindred spirit in you! Now as it happens I am planning another trip to France in April for her graduation gift. We will see Paris, and stay in Burgundy. Vintages indeed! God bless you sweet woman.
Angela, this hit home in so many ways. A fellow parisienne farm girl, I am a year younger than you and have found such a kindred spirit, not to mention inspiration, in so many ways from your channel and blog. I started my road to Mama-hood late in life (as I do most things), and I have 3 little ones that keep me almost too busy to think most days. Your channel, your blog, all of it keeps me going. Helps me remember I'm still Kristen as well as Mama; helps me remember I'm a wife with a good man at my side as well; helps me remember my love of Paris and all things French, all things beautiful, and that one day I'll get back there again, hopefully on one of your tours. Merci bien for giving this mama a ton of inspiration and joy every day. ❤️
I’m 28 years old and have the dream that one day I can call myself mom and have a two-year-old on my hip. I live in Switzerland and am lucky enough to be in paris in 5 hours by train. I love walking through the streets there with red lipstick. I also love standing in the stables with dirty boots and riding my horse through the woods. Parisienne Farmgirl shows me that I can combine these two worlds and don't have to choose one. I’m so grateful that I discovered you on You Tube about 4 years ago and I'm looking forward to spend time with you on Substack as well.
Thank you for your time and for sharing your joie de vivre with us♥️💋
I’ve never been on substack before. Your email brought me here, and now I have a whole new world to explore.
I’m turning 50 this year and having many moments of reflection as well. I became an empty nester after 10 short years of full-time parenting. Taking care of my mom now. Said good bye to my own dream of having a business, and now ready for what is next.
I so enjoyed this. Substack is new to me but some of my favourite have grown and moved. I still enjoy to follow you on the gram etc when I gave time. Its been a joy to watch your family grow and us ladies to. Cheers to a New Year. X
THérèse, First, I love your name. Second, thank you for being here. I have so many thoughts to share on taking what I appreciate from French culture and applying it to everyday life. Glad you're here.
I enjoyed reading, a few vintages ago,and I'm so happy I found you on substack!
Thank you Donna, I'm so happy to be here.

Loved this and was entirely relatable. ❤️❤️
Thank you Candice - mission accomplished then.
What a beautiful, honest reflection. I’m excited to read more and follow along here on Substack this year!!
